Our A/C service includes system testing, evacuation, and a recharge to factory specifications when the system can be safely serviced.
What’s included in the $150 service
- System diagnostic: Visual inspection and pressure testing of your A/C system.
- Refrigerant evacuation: Removal of existing refrigerant, followed by a deep vacuum to remove moisture and air.
- Vacuum hold test: Checking whether the system holds a deep vacuum.
- Fresh oil and UV leak detection dye: Added to protect the compressor and help with future leak tracking.
- Refrigerant recharge: Refilling with the correct factory-specified refrigerant.
How it works if repairs are needed
- System fully functional, with no major repairs needed: You pay the $150 full service price.
- Repairs required and repairable: If the diagnostic reveals broken parts, such as a compressor, condenser, or line, we provide a repair quote on the spot and schedule a repair appointment.
- System unserviceable or not repairable: If the system cannot be charged or safely operated because of severe damage or catastrophic leaks, the fee is $100 for the service call and diagnostic instead of $150. You receive a diagnostic report explaining what failed, the parts required, and what it would take to repair.
